Ingal road safety barriers are manufactured to rigorous local and international standards with many undergoing crash testing in accordance with international standards such as MASH and NCHRP Report 350. Our quality controlled manufacturing and galvanizing operation provides our customers with safety barriers they can depend upon.

Bridge barriers are designed to prevent an errant vehicle from running off the edge of a bridge or culvert. They are designed to have virtually no deflection upon impact and are fabricated from metal posts and railings. Barriers can be manufactured to Low, Regular and Medium Performance Levels as stipulated in AS5100. 

Bridge barrier is transported to site in pre-fabricated sections, minimising installation time. The barrier is galvanised by Ingal after fabrication, ensuring no surface is left untreated. The approach end of the barrier must be suitably transitioned or terminated to prevent vehicle spearing or pocketing.
